We are a highly experienced nationwide insurance service provider specialising in kitchen and home appliance, home emergency and televisual entertainment equipment insurance. Our head office and call centre are based in the South of England, from where we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Since 2015 all of Reactive Insurance's products have been underwritten by SAGIC. SAGIC are The Salvation Army General Insurance Corporation Ltd. SAGIC are a wholly owned subsidiary of The Salvation Army. They are an ethical insurer as all profits made are given to The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army use this money to help change people’s lives for the better.

The Environment

We are committed to minimising the impact of our activities on the environment. We follow a strategy based on the Pollution Prevention Pays (3P) program created by 3M in 1975. The 3P program seeks to eliminate pollution at the source through product reformulation, process and equipment redesign, and the recycling and reuse of waste materials.

The benefits of this strategy are as follows:

  • Benefit the environment through reduced energy use or more efficient use of materials and resources.
  • Save money - through reduced operating and materials expenses, or increased sales of an existing or new product.

  • Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
  • Actively promote recycling.
  • Source and promote a product range to minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution.
  • Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to us.

We use the Japanese business philosophy of Kiazen to aid our focus on providing the best service possible.

Kaizen was created in Japan and means "continuous improvement". Originating from the Japanese words ("kai") which means "change" or "to correct" and ("zen") which means "good", it holds the concept of quality and continuous improvement central to everything. Western philosophy may be summarized as, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." The Kaizen philosophy is to "do it better, make it better, and improve it even if it isn't broken, because if we don't, we can't compete with those who do."

We apply Kaizen by involving every member of staff. Everyone is encouraged to suggest small, but regular improvements to their or the company's way of working. In most cases these ideas do not require major changes, but by making regular small improvements it is possible to increase productivity, safety and effectiveness.

If you have chosen to pay monthly, we will contact you every 12 months for you to review the suitability of your policy.
If you bought an annual policy, we will provide details concerning your renewal in plenty of time prior to the anniversary of your policy.
Unless you wish to cancel your insurance coverage with us you need do nothing more and your policy will automatically renew on the anniversary date using the payment details we have on file.
You can make payments using a Credit or Debit Card, or alternatively, you can set up a direct debit payment. Payments can be made monthly or annually.
